SUN 15:30 to 16:15 – Ian Berry

Magnum Photos’ Ian Berry will give a talk around his new photobook, Water. This publication brings together images taken over the course of 15 years as Ian travelled the globe to document the inextricable links between landscape, life and water. 

The inspiration for this project came from reporting on Greenland’s shrinking glaciers and ice melt, working alongside Danish climatologists, for The Climate Group. This coincided with increased concern and awareness of climate change acceleration, aS Ian found himself increasingly documenting the extremes of wildfires, droughts, floods, pollution, deforestation, and the people impacted by these events.

Water is published by GOST Books, 2023.

This talk will be followed by a book signing
