SUN 12.15 to 13.15 – Tony O’Shea in conversation with Tracy Marshall-Grant

Tony O’Shea will be joined by Tracy Marshall-Grant for a conversation on Tony’s documentary photography shot around Ireland, with a focus on his new photobook, Kingdom of Hounds.

Bringing together images shot over a period of 30 years, in Kingdom of Hounds Tony gives us a locals perspective on the intricacies of the County Kerry hunt. Kerry Beagles, one of the oldest native Irish dog breeds, are bred as hunters and trained by the local huntsmen. 

Tony’s photography shows us the intimate moments of a community coming together to continue this deeply rooted tradition, capturing the competitive tensions, gruelling weather and celebrations.
